Dennis Knight

My name is Dennis knight, I am a Writer, Editor and Creative Consultant. I have been working in the Comic Book Industry since two thousand twelve. Pronto Comics gave me my start by publishing my first Creator Owned Story CROSS.

Since I was a young boy, I have always loved comic books. I had an idea for a story a very long time ago. I was having dinner with my frat brother Joe Baron and I told him about my idea. He suggested I should make my idea a comic book series. Foolishly I agreed. I did not know how to make a comic book series, so I had to teach myself. I read “how-to” books, talked with working professionals and read lots of comic books to learn the language and the format for comic book scripting.

The creative process varies from project to project. The last few years, I have been doing more work- for -hire projects. The Creator/Publisher that hires me most times are in different stages of development. There are times when I have to develop characters, develop issue outlines and scripts. There are other times I have to refine concepts and ideas. This aspect keeps things interesting and exciting.

If I own the IP, then everything is from the ground up. I develop the characters, story, plot etc.
